JC Penneyhas been running an aggressive campaign about the company’s pricing technique.

This is JC Penney’s way of initiating an everyday lowest price theme throughout the store.  Starting February 1, 2012customers will never miss out on a sale. Discounted merchandise, coupons and slashed prices will be eliminated from the company’s pricing blueprint. Some people may deem this marketing technique as wise, but others say it will not increase sales.  This strategy was intended to bring trust between the customer and the store, however questions will arise.  Is JC Penney becoming more like Walmart? Will consumers see a difference between everyday and sale coupons? Will sales increase, dramatically? Either way only time can answer those questions.
